Changing Tracks: Damien Richardson

No matter how low you've fallen, there is always hope, because God is real and He seeks you out. This is what Damien Richardson experienced. At the age of 14, he began attending rave parties and consuming ecstasy. A little later, he became a heroin addict. He went through four different prisons, lost all sense of morality and hit rock bottom with a depression. An unexpected trip to Medjugorje-thinking that he was going to the beaches of Croatia-was the first step of his return to God. But it wasn’t easy to get off the drugs… Light began to shine on his path through the Cenaculo community, which had just opened a house in Ireland. Damien's story is a reminder that we should never lose hope.

How can I help?

Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, up until now we have been able to continue our evangelization through the media. The needs, however, are growing and many times there are unexpected expenses due to maintenance, the purchasing of new machines, etc.
